Hello Friends!
Today I am sharing another sample that I created for the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Creativation 2018 Booth…
It features the new size #8 Etcetera tag…the new #8 tag is perfect to use to highlight a favorite tag and make it more stable to hang and display.
and the new Inventor 1 Stamp Set (CMS340) and the Merchant Stamp Set (CMS331) both of which are SUPER COOL! I absolutely LOVE the Inventor series and the numbers are AWESOME! I have a couple vintage sets of number stamps that I’ve collected over the years but they never have stamped really well because of their age…these are identical to those and stamp beautifully! I’m so happy for the vintage numbers!!
Let’s Begin!
First I started by blending Chipped Sapphire, Frayed Burlap and Hickory Smoke Distress inks onto a #8 Distress Mixed Media Heavy Stock Tag…I then sprayed it with my Distress Sprayer and dried it with my heat tool.
I then stamped the clock/watch inventor stamp onto my tag with Black Soot Distress ink and sprinkled it with clear embossing powder, then I heated it to melt the powder.
Using Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink, I stamped a variety of numbers onto the tag with the small size numbers and sprinkled them with clear embossing powder and embossed them with my heat tool.
With the new Code Layering Stencil (THS102) I blended some Black Soot Distress Ink onto the tag.
For the electrical tag and mini gears, I blended a bit of Picket Fence Distress Paint onto them with my finger, let them dry and then added some Mushroom Alcohol Ink to them.
The distinguished gentleman was picked from a pack of Paper Dolls and toned down with a bit of Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I then used my Candied Apple Distress Marker and highlighted his bow tie. I colored a toothpick, for a cane, with a Gathered Twigs Distress Marker. The itty bitty flower was made with 2 of the flowers from the Tim Holtz Funky Florals #2 set. They were blended with a bit of Tattered Rose Distress Ink and a tiny seed beed was added to the center.
All of my elements were adhered to the Etcetera tag. I topped off the tag with a phrase from the Small Talk Clippings.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!
Creatively Yours,
Stacy
