🥰🎄 Well would you look at this.. it makes me SO HAPPY! A little Christmas typewriter… if you know me, then you know my love of vintage typewriters…and why not dress one up for the holidays! ✨🖤🎄

Here I used the new Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Home For Christmas Stamp set CMS498 along with the past release Curiosity Shoppe CMS482. Can you feel it? 🌬️🍂 🍃🍁 There’s a cool breeze of Autumn blowing in and with it, some new colors of Distress Embossing Glaze! Tim Holtz and Ranger just released 6 more colors of Distress Embossing Glazes..and I couldn’t resist blending a few of them to create some crackled fall backgrounds. They are all beautiful in their own way, but blended together, they create some beautiful blends!

🤎 I first created my swatches using Distress Crackle Texture Paste, then went on to blend some of the colors together using little pinches of the colors over top of texture paste that had been added to some tags using a palette knife and stencil. I set the tags aside to dry and crackle, then heated the embossing glaze using my embossing gun. Once they had cooled down, I spritzed my swatches and the blended backgrounds with Frayed Burlap and Walnut Stain Distress spray, then dried them with my heat tool. Super easy with a beautiful impact! 🍂🤎 Be sure to check out the new colors over on @tim_holtz they fit so perfectly into our Distress Glaze palette! #timholtz #rangerink #embossingglaze #distressembossingglaze #distress

Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without some vintage ephemera, lace, ribbons and buttons. ♥️🎄 For me, it is those special things that bring back memories of Christmas’s pasts and reminds me so much of my grandma and mother. So, for my second project for the Tim Holtz LIVE yesterday, I chose to focus on some of those favorite things. 🥰 The Tim Holtz idea-ology ephemera is always inspired from real vintage things..and the backdrop papers and Christmas collage strips go along with layered bits of real lace, ribbon, fabric and buttons. Well, I don’t know about you, but after seeing yesterday’s Tim Holtz Sizzix Holiday YouTube LIVE, I am in full Christmas mode! What a fun way to start the Holiday making!
Here’s a closer look at a couple sets of cards that I created for the LIVE. (Flip through the photos to see the close-ups)🎄♥️ They were made using the new Vault Holiday Classics which includes the holiday words and greens…so perfect for creating Christmas cards..even if you have a stack of 200 to complete! 😉 I combined it with the Vintage Labels Thinlet set that was released last year, apparently I have a thing for circles this holiday season. Here’s a look at the square vignette that I made for the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Holiday Vault release that Tim hosted today. 🎄
