Hello there! I am back again today with some more Halloween cards and tags..this time with some really cute tiny ghost wafer dies and a witchy stamp set, plus the Moon Mask by Tim Holtz. I love an inky and spooky moon…and this is how my card and tags got started. Check out these adorable little ghosty witches..are they not the cutest?! I LOVE them! Their tiny little hats and ghost bodies are just the cutest!
The stamp set that I used for the little phrases on both the card and tags was entitled If The Hat Fits..so perfectly witchy!

The tags were made using inky paper then cut out using a Wafer Die from Simon Says Stamp entitled 4 for 1 Tags.

I mean, how absolutely perfect is this set! I LOVE it!

So, let’s get to it…
I started by creating the background using the moon mask and a combination of water, Black Soot Spray Stain, and Fortune Teller Mica Spray Stain. I added the circle moon mask onto a piece of Distress Watercolor Paper, then spritzed the two ink sprays and then removed the moon mask, after it was removed, I spritzed the paper with water and then let the color draw towards the center of the moon, then I dried it with my heat tool. After it was dry, I spritzed it with water again, then spritzed more black soot and some water to create a shadow/or clouds, then dried it again with my heat tool.

Next, I created a small puddle of black soot paint and water, then I dipped a paint brush into the puddle and splattered some drips onto the background, then dried it with my heat tool.

I stamped some stars from the stamp set in various places and stamped a phrase in the center, and embossed them using Clear Embossing Powder. Over the word “Magic” while the embossing powder was hot, I sprinkled on some gold embossing powder, then I heated it up if it needed it and melted the gold powder a little more to set it.

I cut out some tiny ghosts and their hats and built them using some Craft Glue.

I made some background papers using the same combo of sprays, then cut out some tags using the 4-for-1 Tag Wafer Die.

I stamped some stars using some of my Black Soot Archival Inks, then embossed them with clear embossing powder and sprinkled on a little gold and embossed again.
The little ghosts were built, then some black paper was added behind their eyes, then added to each of the tags using foam adhesive.

I trimmed the piece of moon background paper to my desired size, then used my sewing machine to create a border around the edge of the paper, then attached the little ghosts wearing their little witchy hats…
I used some black chunky glitter and applied it randomly around the edge of the care, then I added some liquid tinsel around the edge very lightly here and there, even adding some to the tails and tiny hats of the ghosts, just to add a tiny bit of sparkle, then I set it aside to dry.

I added the card moon background to a folded black cardstock card front, and with that, my card was complete.

I topped each of the tags with some ribbon and tied some bows, and with that, my tags were complete.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and Happy Halloween! So grateful for you and your support of me and my making, excited to share some Christmas makes very soon!
Creatively yours,
Stacy
