Time to clean the nest…again!

Hello friends…I hope that you have been having a wonderful summer! I have been busy behind the scenes making all sorts of things and working at finishing some home projects. It’s good to take a break from making and catch up on the clutter and little jobs that have been building up on the to do list. In fact, I am just finishing up putting away more of my boxes from our move 2 years ago …yeah, I’ve been putting it off a tiny bit 😉 …but now, it feels so good to have it done! As I’ve been putting things away, I have discovered that I do not have room for all of my projects… there are only so many that you can keep, so my loss is your gain. It’s time for another go at cleaning out the nest.

Although it’s sad to see them go, it makes me so happy to know that they are going to those that will enjoy them, and that they will be well loved and decorating someone else’s home!

1. Collect Beautiful Moments- ($65) An Etcetera Tag featuring the new Tim Holtz Uncharted Mariner. This tag features an idea-ology Photo Booth photo, woven and stitched denim pieces and vintage buttons. The background was created using a variety of distress inks, stamps and a beautiful Sizzix Wildflower that is watercolored with inks.

2. Shine Brightly- ($30) SOLD

A card made using the new Floral Elements Stamp Set stamped and watercolored using distress inks. This card also features machine stitching and glass vintage buttons.

3. A Little Cottage Lit by the Moon- ($225) SOLD

This is one of my favorite projects EVER! It was made for the release of the new Village Series Thinlet Sets and features a tiny cottage. Sewing, vintage fabric, vintage buttons, a stick, vintage dictionary paper and more.. The moon lights up with the help of battery powered twinkle lights and is all contained within a vintage cigar box. It measures approximately 6″ wide x 12″ tall. 4. A Stitch in Time Sewing Kit- ($150) SOLD

This project features all sorts of vintage goodies…a thimble, wood spools of thread, scissors, an old salt shaker loaded with vintage buttons, a sewn vintage quilt square pincushion and straight pins. I covered the box with idea-ology papers and ephemera, plus some stitched bits of vintage fabric for good measure. To see more details of this project CLICK HERE.

5. Live Your Story- ($135) SOLD

This project was created for the idea-ology 2022 release and features many of the new products which include Baseboard Windows, Ephemera, Adornment Charms, Hardware Heads, Handstamped and stitched, inky, distressed papers and tags, crackle texture, layers and more…CLICK HERE to check out more details.

6. Hello There- ($35) SOLD

This card features the new recently released Sizzix Postale Thinlet set. A beautiful butterfly and tiny envelopes were layered to create the look of a stack of vintage letters. Inky papers stamped and embellished using Tim Holtz stamps and stencils, idea-ology mummy cloth and jute. Then the pieces were stitched, arranged and brought together to create a very layered card.
