Hello all and WELCOME!!!
I’m so happy that you stopped by today! This post is the second in a series of posts that will show some of the samples that I created for the Tim Holtz Creativation 2018 Sizzix and Stampers Anonymous Booths…what a thrill it was to be asked to create for them! If you haven’t checked out all of the fabulous stamps, stamping supplies and embellishments that were released be sure to click HERE!
Let’s Begin!
This card was made with the new Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Glorious Bouquet Stamp Set CMS325.
This is an AMAZINGLY detailed stamp and comes with its own XL acrylic block. It can be stamped in a variety of ways… You can use it in full or on the corners or edges of your creations. It also comes with a variety of greetings which makes it perfect for card making. The possibilities are endless!
To begin I used Jet Black Archival ink and stamped the bouquet on watercolor paper using the Tim Holtz Stamping Platform. The platform is a great way to stamp this image because of its size. I then sprinkled the image with clear embossing powder and heat embossed it. Then, with a variety of Distress Inks and a Distress Watercolor brush, I watercolored the flowers and leaves and dried it with the my heat tool.
After the bouquet was colored, I blended Distress Oxide Antique Linen ink around the edges of the card and then sprayed it with water, blotted it and then dried it with my heat tool. I then blended a bit of Distress Ink in Pumice Stone, sprayed with water, blotted and dried it with my heat tool again until it was to my liking.
With Watering Can Archival Ink, I stamped one of the new Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Ornate Trims CMS326 at the bottom. This set is beautiful and comes with 16 different trims!
First I matted my stamped paper onto a dark green piece of cardstock from the Tim Holtz Classic Kraft Paper Stash and then stamped one of the skinny trims around all 4 of the edges of the green mat with the same ink. The phrase was stamped in Jet Black Archival Ink onto a piece of watercolor paper, trimmed, and inked with Antique Linen Oxide and Pumice Stone Distress ink. I found a scrap of some vintage lace, adhered it to some green ink blended paper and stapled it together. I then added it to the front of the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a GREAT day!
Creatively Yours,
Stacy
