I hope this post is finding you well, I am so excited to be back today and have a surprise for you..
I’m back to share a brand new “tattered nest class kit to-go”!
Can you believe it’s been 2 years since I posted my last kit?? How crazy is that! Life got so hectic and I just didn’t get the chance to focus in on one. I love making and teaching techniques, but most of all, sharing my love of mixed media, and I am so happy that today is the day!!! YAY!!!!
My kits are like my tutorials, but with a more in-depth approach. They teach techniques that I love and include detailed instructions, photos and most of the supplies needed to create it. Techniques explained in this kit include sewing on mixed media projects with a sewing machine, and adding tattered texture with chipboard. This kit also includes hand cut and embossed pieces using the latest releases from Sizzix and Tim Holtz.
Included in this kit are watercolor paper pieces cut from the Leaf Fragments thinlet set, watercolor paper embossed paper with the new Foliage 3D texture fade and watercolor paper pieces cut using the Spiderweb thinlet set.
Caught in a Spider’s Web is a Halloween themed Etcetera Tag project. This project was created using a Mini Etcetera Tag from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous and combines idea-ology products from both the regular line and Halloween release. You will also be creating a background paper and using distress products to create unique embellishments from Sizzix paper pieces that have been pre-cut for you.
To complete the kit, use the supplies included then combine it with the basic supplies that you already own. This kit is VERY limited in quantity and contains pre-stamped, pre-cut and handmade supplies PLUS it includes the in-depth instructions with high quality photos.
You will not be disappointed!
The project measure’s 4.5″ x 8″ …when it’s finished it can hang on a wall, be propped standing in a photo stand or on display on a Halloween themed mantle or centerpiece display. Although this kit will not arrive to you before Halloween this year, you will be way ahead for next year’s festivities…and you know what? Halloween is fun to make at any time!!!
Here’s what’s included in the kit…
A Mini Etcetera Tag, Washer and Trim piece, the Sizzix 3D Foliage Embossed Distress Watercolor Background Paper, Leaves cut from the new Leaf Fragments Thinlet Set out of Distress Watercolor Paper, Spiderwebs cut from Distress Watercolor Paper, Patterned Paper from the Abandoned Paper Stash, Halloween idea-ology pieces that include a Skull and a selection of Halloween Paper Dolls (this may differ from the one shown in my sample), a Spider, Ornate Metal Label Piece and Hardware Heads, Mummy Cloth, Vials, string, floral spanish moss, a stick from my stick collection 😉 ,silver thread, vintage onion skin paper pre-stamped pieces and chipboard.
The kit also includes 9 full pages of color step-out photos and 4 pages of written instructions listing all the specific steps to complete the kit… plus, tips, tricks and techniques to help you along the way, and that can carry over into your own makes! The instructions include a detailed listing of supplies I used, and those needed from your own stash to complete it (ie. – paint, distress ink, distress supplies, adhesives, etc.) The listing of supplies include the specific colors and details of the supplies used, but it is meant only for reference …you can create with the kit to your own preference with the supplies that you already have on hand and to your own unique style. (Please note: I have used a Sewing Machine to complete the project, this is not needed but may be preferred, tips and tricks for stitching on paper are included in the instructions.)
The cost of the kit is $75 which includes shipping and handling fee. The kit will be mailed to you through USPS Priority Mail, so you’ll have it in 1-3 days. (At this time I am only shipping within the U.S.) Payment for the kit can be paid through PayPal. If you don’t have a Paypal account, sign up is easy and FREE, no fees are charged to you for using it. Paying through PayPal makes things safer for both you and me. I simply need your email (associated with your PayPal account, if you have one), mailing address and zip code to send you an invoice, then you will pay with a debit or credit card. Once the invoice is sent, it needs to be paid within 24 hours of receiving it. I will begin shipping out the kits on Monday, November, 1, 2021.
It’s as easy as that!
If you are interested in a kit, simply email me all of your information (your email, shipping address and zip code) at tatterednestdesigns@gmail.com and I will get the PayPal invoice sent.
Please feel free to email me with any questions…
and most of all, thank you so much for your creative support of me and my tutorials.
Creatively yours,
