Hello friends! Happy Friday!
I hope that you all have been well. I’ve been busy doing all sorts of things, creating in my studio, organizing and even doing some gardening. It’s still quite cool here in northwest Ohio, but this year, I’ve jumped into a new hobby, Winter Sowing. Have you heard of this? It’s a way of starting seeds in winter without using fancy equipment. You make little green houses with old milk jugs loaded with soil and seeds and set them outside in the winter elements and Mother Nature does her thing to get them all ready for spring. I am so excited for all the new flowers for my garden, and at a substantially lower price. Anyways, that brings me to my newest class kit, and gives you an idea of what has been whirling around in this crazy head of mine…flowers and spring and bunnies and seeds and vintage garden tools and seed packets and distressed terra cotta flower pots, anyways, you get the idea. My heart and soul are ready for spring and all that it brings!
UPDATE! The first batch has been mailed out and I have restocked and have some kits left… If you are interested and would like one, email me at tatterednestdesigns@gmail.com and I can get it all set for you. When I am out of kits, I will update this post. π
THANK YOU!!! I am overwhelmed and thrilled at the response of the kit. I appreciate all the kind emails and hearing from you all and some of your creating stories. You made my heart so happy and I thank you! – Stacy π
In a Tattered Garden is my newest kit. It is loaded with everything spring and has a distressed & vintage garden theme..right down to the NEW idea-ology Salvaged Rabbit. This kit is loaded with techniques and focuses on Tim Holtz Sizzix, Stampers Anonymous, idea-ology, Ranger Distress Products and my love of vintage. You know I love techniques, so that is what this kit is all about, lots of techniques sharing how I distressed all the individual elements.
My kits are like my tutorials, but with a more in-depth approach. They teach techniques that I love and include detailed instructions, photos and most of the supplies needed to create it. You will learn collage & distress crackled painting techniques, layering, distressing elements and adding vintage pieces that I have collected, and am now sharing with you!
In a Tattered Garden is a spring and summer themed project that is inspired by my love of all things Tim Holtz, vintage and that perfect shade of vintage green, with a dash of distressed chippiness! The project is created using an idea-ology Vignette Tray and features a Salvaged Rabbit. I have combined it with several curated bits from my vintage stash which includes vintage lace, fabric, paper, and hardware. Plus, you will be learning some chippy and inky techniques and be creating some very unique embellishments… including those cute carrots!
To complete the kit, use the supplies included, and combine it with the basic supplies that you already own. This kit is VERY limited in quantity and contains pre-stamped, pre-cut and handmade supplies.
You will not be disappointed!
The project measures approximately 9″x4.75″x1″, when it is finished, it can be hung on the wall, be propped standing in a photo stand or put on display on a mantle, shelf or centerpiece display.
Here’s what’s included in the kit…
An idea-ology Vignette Tray, Pre-embossed 3D Watercolor Paper, a piece of idea-ology Collage Paper, 2 Etcetera Trim Pieces, pre-stamped Vintage Papers, 1 Pre-cut Sizzix Envelope and Folder, Fabric, Vintage Lace, Ribbon, idea-ology clips, Label Pull and pieces, vintage nails, beads, Floral Moss, dried florals, a stick and more…
The kit includes 9 pages of color step-out photos and 5 pages of written instructions listing all the specific steps to complete the kit…plus tips, tricks and techniques to help you along the way, and that can carry over into your own projects. It’s just like having me teaching you in a class room, except you get to make it in your pj’s, in the comfort of your own home & anytime that you want! π and, If you have ANY questions, you can email me and I will get back to you in a snap!
The instructions include a detailed listing of consumable supplies I used, and those needed to complete it (i.e.- distress paint, distress ink, distress supplies, adhesives, etc.) The listing of supplies includes the specific colors, but is meant only for reference …you can create the kit to your own preference with the supplies you already have on hand, and to your own unique style.
The cost of the kit is $90 plus $10 for shipping. The kit will be mailed to you through USPS Priority Mail, which includes insurance. You will receive your kit within 1-3 days after I ship them out. At this time, I am only shipping within the U.S., or I can check into your individual country and check on the price for you. Payment for the kit can be paid through PayPal. I simply need your email, mailing address and zipcode to send the invoice, then you can pay with a debit or credit card. Once the invoice is sent, it needs to be paid within 24 hours of receiving it. I will begin shipping out the kits by Monday, March 27, 2023.
It’s as easy as that!
If you are interested in a kit, please email me at tatterednestdesigns@gmail.com with all your information (your email, shipping address and zip code) and I will get the PayPal invoice sent, if you haven’t heard from me within 24 hours, please try emailing me again, or private message me through my instagram account @stacyhstamps or leave a comment on this blog post.
Feel free to contact me with any questions, and most of all, thank your your creative support of me and my tutorials.
Creatively yours,
Stacy

This is absolutely wonderful (as is everything you do!) I only wish that I could get a kit in the UK (I’m sure, as usual, postage will be prohibitive).

Stunning make Stacy! I would love to get the kit but I do not live in the US. Unfortunately, my country charges crazy shipping and import taxes. Is there any chance we could buy the instructions and try to purchase the supplies on our own? I completely understand if that is not an option. I love your makes and really appreciate how you share your techniques with us.
Thanks for sharing.
